Ernestine Mae Robinson, 63, of Burlington, died at 7:30 PM Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Burlington.
Born January 25, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ernie Marsh and Ruby Greenup.
She graduated in May of 1980 from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree.
She was a social worker.
She enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel, and R&B. She also enjoyed watching TV, cooking, reading and taking early morning walks. Most of all she loved her son and spending time with him.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby Greenup of Burlington; son, David Turner, Jr. of Burlington; brother, William (Renie) Greenup, Jr. of Round Rock, TX; four sisters, Dorothy Stout, Kay Greenup, Karen Downs and Teresa Greenup all of Burlington, and Christy (Kenneth) Poullard of Waco, TX; many cousins, several nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, special grandmother "mom", Florence Robinson The Matriarch.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be a Memorial Celebration at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Union Baptist Church Full Gospel Fellowship. Reverend Lawrence L. Manson Officiant.
