Obituary
Jack Williams Jr., 66, of Burlington, died at 8:32 AM Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. 2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord".
Born April 27, 1956, in Ottumwa, IA, he was the son of Jack Richard and Darlene Shirley Ann Williams.
Jack worked at the Exide Battery Company as a foreman.
Jack was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church. He was very devoted to his faith and loved reading his Bible. Jack was a big story teller and especially loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Misty Smith and Jacklyn Williams of Burlington;six grandchildren, Logan Wall, Matthew Smith, Chelsea Smith, Raina Smith, Jaden Jones, Ryan Gallup; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
The graveside committal service for Jack will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 16, 2022, at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
