Obituary

Sandra L. Wilkins, 81, of Burlington, died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Born November 22, 1941 in Farmington, Iowa she was the daughter of George Henry and Edith Elizabeth (Rings) Watson. She was a 1959 graduate of Burlington High School.
She worked for the Benner Tea Company from 1959-1963 and the Abex Corporation in California before returning to Iowa in 1978. After returning to Iowa she worked for Folk Equipment and later Fox Appliance and Patrick’s True Value in Wapello and Burlington True Value until her retirement.
She attended New Fellowship Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, playing the accordion, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Patrick of Burlington; six grandsons, James Patrick Jr., Joshua (Shannon) Patrick, Tyler (Whitney) Payne, Matthew (James) Patrick, Justin (Melissa) Patrick and Brian (Jennifer) Patrick; nine great grandchildren, Paislee, Braxton, Teagan, Hadley, Archer, Joseph, Tyler, Cason and Annabelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and a son both in infancy, her sister Donna Richardson and nephew Steve Richardson.
The funeral service for Sandra will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13th at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Shane McCampbell will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12th at Lunning Chapel.
Memorials have been established for the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
