Bev lived a full rewarding life with a variety of interests, a quick wit, and a great sense of humor. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, photography, golfing, bowling, metal detecting, geode hunting and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye football fan. She was a Honda scooter enthusiast and artist and spent her years spoiling her six precious poodles that graced her life.
During her senior years, God’s purpose for her life expanded and she shared her passion for music at area care centers, singing and playing guitar with Harland Gamber’s “Over the Hill Gang” and Tri-State Bluegrass Band. Bev also enjoyed monthly solo appearances at the Hamilton Illinois Senior Community Center. All of those times sharing, allowed her to meet many special friends.
She is survived by her special cousin, Julie Reusch of Burlington; special friend Tatum Dorothy and her boys Cole and Avery from North Carolina. The special connection they shared proved that love can be as strong as, or greater than, blood. She was their “Aunt Bev” and they were her
“treasured blessings”.
Also surviving are her special friend Ben Hendericksmeyer and cousin Barbara Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her six precious poodles.
According to Bev’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Interment will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
