Mrs. Evelyn Renee Burg, 94, of Burlington, formerly of Mediapolis, died at 12:21 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Great River Hospice House.
Born June 18, 1925 in Pleasant Grove, IA, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ruby (Kuhlenbeck) Vandermark. She married John Emil Burg December 31, 1946 in Pleasant Grove, IA. He died November 26, 1980.
Evelyn graduated from Yarmouth High School. She was a production worker for IRC for 27 years, until her retirement in 1983.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include three children; Bradley P. Burg of Mill Spring, NC, Pamela R. Lollis of Spokane, WA, and Paula R. Burg of Burlington, IA; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Leif, Luke, Ashley, Raina, Jordan, and Abby; nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Elnora Willson; and two nieces, Karen (Douglas) Clay and Patty (Rick)Van Winkle.
A private family inurnment will be held June 18th,2020 in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
