Ethel Theresa Heuvelmann, 99, of Burlington, died at 4:10 PM Thursday, September 10, 2020, at the OakView Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Burlington.
Born June 30, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Theodore F. and Ida Georgeanne Snyder. On November 25, 1943, she married Joseph L. Heuvelmann in Burlington, Iowa. He died on June 12, 1970.
Ethel worked for Woolworths, Mercy Hospital and retired from Arion Restuarant after 26 years.
She was a member of SS. John & Paul Catholic Church. Ethel loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Charles (Connie S.) Heuvelmann of West Burlington and Leon (Maureen) Heuvelmann of Burlington; three daughters, Georgia (Robert) Keitzer of Mediapolis, Dian (Albert) Renken of Stronghurst and Donna (Gail) Mudd of Biggsville; daughter-in-law, Connie L. Heuvelmann of Burlington; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Edward, six brothers, and seven sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, September 14, 2020 at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Heuvelmann will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 14, 2020, at Divine Mercy Parish-St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
