Mary Katherine Willson (McCannon) Beggs
Mary Katherine Beggs died April 6, 2021. Born November 2, 1930, she was the daughter of Rex C. and Madeline (Keinlen) Willson. She married Lloyd “Augie” McCannon on October 23, 1946. They later divorced. She married Raymond Beggs on February 23, 1957. He died February 1, 2009.
She worked at IAAP and Riley Bros and was in child care for 35 years in her home. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She enjoyed the many fish-fry’s and get togethers with family and friends.
Survivors include her children; Cindy (Steve) Robinson, Kevin (Cindy) McCannon, Marc (Irene) Beggs, and Chris (Christy) Beggs; stepdaughter Linda (Larry) Ballard; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother Terry Willson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Deborah Casady, three brothers; one sister, two stepsons and four grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Beggs will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12th at Lunning Chapel. Visitation will family will be held one hour prior to the service. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral service. Inurnment will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13th at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the family.
