Larry Augustine
Wever - Larry Augustine, 77, of Wever, died at 5:03 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at his home.
Born September 28, 1944, in Burlington, he was the son of Paul Eugene and Gertrude Martha Mehaffy Augustine. On July 13,1963, he married Wanda Lee Chesnut. She passed away on January 20, 2002.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his two sons; Todd (Vicki) Augustine and Dale (Debbie) Augustine both of Wever, four grandchildren; Jason (Jamie) Bohnenkamp of Denmark, Megan (Tim) Jackels of Dubuque, Jacob (Liz Adams) Augustine of Wever, Courtney (Cory) Ough of Wever, six great-grandchildren; one brother, Randy Augustine of Wever, two sisters; Paula Hobbs of Danville, Lois Shipley of Burlington and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
