Phyllis Ione Selser, 92, of West Burlington died Sunday, March 31, 2019 in her home.
Born February 25, 1927 in Keota, Iowa she was the daughter of Neal and Pearl (Ramsey) Gammon. She married Wilbur Selser on November 20, 1949 in Burlington. He died March 12, 2009.
Phyllis worked for Midwest Biscuit, operated an in home child care center, was a homemaker, and a professional mom.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Eagles Aerie #150.
She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. She absolutely loved kids and her dog Judze.
Survivors include her two children, Nancy (Steve) Cline of West Burlington and Larry (Pam) Selser of Bettendorf, Iowa; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one brother Lyman Gammon of Columbia, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
The funeral service for Mrs. Selser will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 4th at Lunning Chapel. Mr. Dale Warner will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3rd at Lunning Chapel.
