Frances Geneva Hartman, 102, of West Burlington, died at 8:50 AM Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Great River Klein Center in West Burlington.
Born September 21, 1915, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harry J. and Bertha R. Shullaw Wickhart. On December 1, 1951, she married Leo Edward in Burlington, Iowa. He passed on November 3, 2006.
She was of Methodist faith. She enjoyed art work, painting, and sewing. She was a great cook.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda J. Kelley of Henderson, NV; three grandsons, Kevin (Pam) Peterson and Jarrin Peterson both of Burlington, and Brian Beebe of Birmingham, IA; five great-grandchildren: Nathan (Randee) Peterson, Grant Peterson, Jacob Peterson and two others all of Burlington; one sister and one brother.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
The graveside committal service for Mrs. Hartman will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Chaplain David Plooster officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
