MUSCATINE, Iowa - Junerose Puckett, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa. Reverend Don Combs will officiate. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Junerose was born on March 6, 1938, in Centerville, the daughter of Herb and Ruth Newland.
Junerose retired from Champion Spark Plug in Burlington. She enjoyed going to casinos and shopping. Junerose loved spending time with her sister, Doralee, and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamala Spears of Muscatine and Toni Spears of Washington State; two granddaughters, Paula Tordai of Davenport and Pamala Tordai of Muscatine; and three brothers, Norman Newland of Arkansas, Gene Newland and his wife, Jean, of Arkansas, and Keith Newland of Burlington.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Fran Puckett and Paul Spears; one sister, Doralee Ziegler; and one brother, Larry Newland.
