Gail Maria Braun, 78, of Burlington, died at 5:22 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Born September 16, 1943, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Lloyd F. and Hazel M Von Holt Smith. She married James Timmerman in Burlington. They later divorced. She married Joseph Braun.
Gail worked as an assembly technician for PRP in Mediapolis.
Survivors include husband, Joseph Braun of Mount Pleasant, two sons, Patrick Timmerman of West Burlington, and David Braun of Burlington; three grandchildren; brother, Mervin (Barb) Smith of West Burlington; sister, Marjorie Marshall of Burlington; friend, Eileen Tietsworth of Mediapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and John Timmerman, one brother, Raymond, and one sister, Mabel.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
