Obituary
Robert Orval Hellenthal, 95, of Burlington, died Monday, August 29, 2022 at the New London Specialty Care Center.
Born February 26, 1927 in Burlington and he was the son of Orval Henry and Winona Magdelene Bruhl Hellenthal.
Robert attended St Paul’s Catholic Schools in Burlington. He married Susan Mae McNeece on July 7, 1984 in West Burlington. She died January 13, 2017.
Robert retired from Industrial property assistant management. He worked for Federal Civil Service for 33 years.
He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish. He also was a member of the Eagles Aerie #150 and the National Rifle Association.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Winona and his wife Susan.
The mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Marty Goetz officiating. Interment will follow at Aspen Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Lunning Chapel.
