Obituary
Harold Williams, 92, of Gladstone, Illinois, died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his residence.
Born June 26, 1929 he was the son of Ted and Edith (Helmeth) Williams. He married Evelyn Young on October 7, 1950 in Oakville, Iowa. She died December 5, 2012.
Harold worked for Ameren/CITS for 50 years until his retirement. He was a long-time volunteer for the Henderson County Health Department.
He was a member of the Gladstone United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his two children, Linda Scott of Danville, Iowa and Edward Williams of Gladstone, Illinois; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one brother Richard Beames of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Evelyn and two brothers.
Per his wishes, a private graveside committal will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
