Obituary
Barbara L. Schindall, 88, of Burlington, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at her residence.
Born October 25, 1934, she was the daughter of Milton and Ruth Fulton Wiele.
On November 8, 1952 she married Carl Edwin Schindall in Ft Madison. He died March 3, 2002.
Barbara worked for the Andrew Corporation, retiring in 2001.
She enjoyed traveling, sewing, going to the casino and being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Gregg) Kerby of Burlington; three grandchildren Jeremy (Jennifer) Nichols, Jered (Jennifer) Nichols and Brittney Kerby; six great grandchildren, Colton, Katelee, Michael, Christopher, Taylin, Alayah and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Lewis Smith, her husband Carl, two brothers Fulton Wiele and Thomas Wiele and one great grandchild, Allison Nichols.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
Private inurnment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
