Linda Jean Eibes, 78, of Burlington died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Westley Acres in Des Moines.
Born January 12, 1942 in Maryville, Missouri she was the daughter of Ralph H. and Fern Agnes (Cross) Kirkpatrick. She married Marvin Leon Eibes on May 7, 1966 in Biggsville, Illinois. He died May 11, 1998.
Linda worked as a registered nurse for Burlington Medical Center and continued as an instructor for Southeastern Community College.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish the Moose Lodge and the Burlington Optimist Club and was very involved in the activities of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Dr. Todd (Michelle) Eibes of Waukee and three grandchildren Kyle, Kaylee and Everad.
The funeral service for Mrs. Eibes will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7th at Lunning Chapel. The Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service.
