Leona L. Huebner, 96, of Burlington died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her residence.
Born May 20, 1926 in rural Ft Madison, she was the daughter of Harry James and Hilda (Grimwood) Westfall.
On June 17, 1945 she married Jack Huebner in Quincy, IL. He died march 27, 1989.
Leona worked for Shaeffer Pen Co, drove a stock truck for years and worked for Winegard Co. For the last 25 years she was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping and gardening.
Survivors include her children Garry (Joanie) Huebner of Bellevue, IL, Gerald Huebner of Burlington, Peggy (Leonard) Piper of Hills, IA, and Pamela Huebner of Burlington; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers and sisters.
The graveside service for Leona will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 24th at Aspen Grove Cemetery
