Joshua Alan Stevenson, 36, of Burlington, died Friday, July 23, 2021, in Burlington.
Born January 10, 1985, in Burlington, he was the son of Alan Stevenson and Kelly Marie Brown Bowman.
Josh was a hard worker and was always up to any job or task.
Josh was a member of the Southside Hillbillies. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and bike, fishing, and gardening. He loved watching T.V., especially westerns, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was known as being friendly to everyone he met and always being kind to animals.
Survivors include his mother, Kelly (Mark) Bowman of Burlington; father, Alan (Jennifer) Stevenson of Burlington; five brothers, Alan "Mikey" (Krystal) Stevenson, Jessie Stevenson, Jamie (Brooke) Stevenson, Bradley (Tesla French) Stevenson, and Justin Stevenson all of Burlington; nephew/brother, Drayton Stevenson Bowman of Burlington; two step-brothers, Terry (Alicia) Garmoe and Markie (Jo) Bowman, Jr. both of Burlington; paternal grandmother, Dolores Stevenson of Burlington; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Blue, maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, sister, Kelli Nicole Stevenson, nephew, Ashton Rollins, and uncle, Matt Brown Sr.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, July 30, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Josh Stevenson will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 30, 2021, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Supt. Mr. Fred Starling and Deacon Timmy Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
