Obituary
The Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Betty C. Swafford, 77, who died Friday, November 2, 2012, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10th, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Marty Goetz will be the celebrant. The Des Moines County Resurrection Choir will provide music. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. Friday, November 9th at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends following the Rosary at 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for Great River Hospice House and St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
