Dean K. Sutton, 59, of Sperry, died at 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at his home, of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 9, 1927, in Mediapolis, to Harry and Nora Bentley Sutton. He married Beverly Bouquet on Sept. 17, 1950, at Burlington. He was a farmer and a truck driver, a member of the Grace Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Mediapolis High School and a veteran of World War II Naval service. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; three daughters, Joan Staub, Burlington, Nancy McAlpine, Mediapolis; and Lynn Sutton, Iowa City; two sons, Kenneth, Mediapolis, and Dale, Burlington; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Harriett Tranbarger, Torrence, Calif. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fry Funeral Chapel, Mediapolis. A memorial has been established for the Mediapolis Ambulance Service. Services for Mr. Sutton will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fry Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemtery.
