Doris N. Bindel, 58, of 1209 S. 13th St., died Friday, Nov. 13, 1987, at her home.
Born Dec. 9, 1928, in Louisiana, Mo., she was the daughter of Jessie and Josephine Rubmeyer Cox. She married Herbert Bindel in 1969, in Mexico, Mo.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Nancy Tucker, Burlington; three sons, Herbert Bindel, Burlington, Dennis Myers, West Burlington, and David Myers, Danville; one step-daughter, Peggy Dewey, Fort Ord, Calif.; three stepsons, Robert Bindel, Glenwood, Colo., Thomas Bindel, Aurora, Colo., and Richard Bindel, Burlington; four sisters, Alma Howe and Gerry Hyde, both of St. Peters, Mo., and Rosale Burkamer and Bonnie Wortman, both of Mexico, Mo.; one brother, Harold Coz, St. Charles, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Sunday at Sheagren Funeral Home.
The service for Mrs. Bindel will be 2 pm Monday at the Sheagren Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Pate officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
