Eugene Bied, 70, of 1233 Stowe St., died Saturday, March 10, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1919, in Burlington, he was the son of Walter F. and Edna Hamelton Bied. He married Helen Sommers on June 29, 1946, in Burlington.
He was employed at Chittenden & Eastman Co. before retiring. He was a member of the Upholsters Union and the Oak Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; one adopted daughter, Donna Wisner of Burlington; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Sheagren Funeral Home.
The service for Mr. Bied will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the Sheagren Funeral Home with Edward Wisner officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
