Kenneth Alan Bice, 39, of 17096 Jimtown Road, New London, died after an extended illness at 4 am on Wednesday, June 29, 1994, at his home.
Born Dec. 23, 1954, in LaHarpe, Ill., he was the son of Robert and Audrey Williams Bice. On April 7, 1979, he married Tami Toft at the Presbyterian Church in Middletown.
Mr. Bice was a youth minister and owner of K.T’s Kups & Kones in Westland Mall.
He was a 1973 graduate of Burlington High School and attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife; his parents of West Burlington; three brothers, William “Bill” Bice of Burlington, Stephen Bice of Woodbridge, Va., and Mike Bice of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Betsy Smith of Burlington, Marjorie Shepherd of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Barbara McRoberts of West Burlington; 10 nieces and nephews; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be after noon Friday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends between 7 and 8:30 pm.
The funeral for Mr. Bice will be at 1 pm Saturday at the Genesis Fellowship Church, with Steve Parker officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
