Edward Stadtlander, 417 Hagemann avenue, well known ice cream manufacturer, died suddenly at 9:30 a.m. Saturday while at work in Stadtlander Brothers store at Eighth and Franklin streets. He was born Aug. 18, 1889 in Burlington, the son of Henry and Louisa Beck Stadtlander, and married Clara Bergman in Burlington Dec. 28, 1920. He was a veteran of WWI and attended the Latter Day Saints church. Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Janet, at home; a sister, Mrs. Clara Scott and several nieces and nephews. The body is at Prugh's chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
