Herman R. Bertman, 80, of 820 Cindy Drive, died Thursday, March 15, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Aug. 21, 1909, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of John and Molly Bertman. He married Marge McCarthy July 11, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pa. She died Jan. 5, 1985.
He was a truck driver for the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin and had worked in circulation at The Hawk Eye. He was of the Jewish faith.
Surviving at one daughter, Mrs. Marlene (Joseph) Mahoney of Burlington and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mr. Bertman will be 10:30 am Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Chris Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
