Sharon Kay Berry, 67, of Burlington, died at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa on January 31, 2011 at 7:52 p.m.
Born on May 13, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Gustav Augustin and Clara Alga Guttenburg. She married Robert William Berry on May 4, 1970 in Denver, Colorado.
She was a homemaker. She loved doing needle point, cooking, traveling, gardening and playing cribbage. She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Burlington, Iowa; two sons, Brian A. Berry of West Hartford, Connecticut and Tracy L. Berry of Corpus Christi, Texas; one grandson, William R. Berry of West Hartford, Connecticut; and one sister, Donna Howell of Columbus, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Darla Michelle Berry; her parents; three brothers, Everett, Albert and Leland Weir.
No formal visitation or services are planned, Cremation has been accorded. A memorial has been established for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
