Obituary
Raymond M. Bauer, 84, of 1230 Stowe St., died at 1:36 am Tuesday, May 25, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Feb. 28, 1909, in Burlington, he was the son of George C. and Anna Katherine Madsen Bauer.
He was a night watchman it Murray Iron Works for 15 years and was a janitor at Arion Restaurant. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include a brother, William Bauer of Burlington; a sister, Dorothy E. Smith of Burlington; two nieces; two nephews; and a great-grandniece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call as they desire Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday morning at Prugh’s Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Thursday at the chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Bauer will be 2 pm Friday at Prugh’s Chapel with Rev. Gregg Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
