Joy Sherrie Smith Calvin, 31, of 1313 N. Central Ave., died Saturday, June 29, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center. Born July 27, 1959, in Burlington, she was the daughter of David and Dorothy A. Morse Stickland. She was a medical aid at Hope Haven and was a member of Genesis Fellowship. Survivors include two daughters, Andrea, 12, and Mary Beth, 6; two sons, Jacob, 7 and Luke, 3, all at home; her mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Donald Smith, Burlington; her father, Traer; and three brothers, Carroll Smith and Mike Smith, Burlington, and Fred Smith, Fairbanks, Alaska. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel. The service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Genesis Fellowship with the Rev. Jim Salvador officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for her children. Contributions may be made to the account which has been set up at Valley Savings Bank.
