Erwin Franklin Berrier, 91, of Southport, Conn., died Saturday, Nov. 1998, at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull, Conn.
Born June 14, 1907, in Burlington, he was the son of Charles and Sadie Lousch Berrier. On July 17, 1937, he married Louise Weibley in Burlington. She died Jan. 22, 1988.
Mr. Berrier had been a financial manager for the Bryant Heater Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Ind., for 35 years.
He had been a 32nd degree, Mason. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include one son, Erwin “Bud” Berrier, Jr. of Southport; one daughter, Ethelyn Berrier Morrison of Fripp Island, S.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister Eva Mae Berrier Danielson of Burlington; nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. The family will receive friends from 6 to7:30 pm Thursday at Prugh’s chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Berrier will be at 10:30 Friday at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Tevis officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
