Larry Allan Shultz, 58, of Burlington, Iowa and formerly of Mediapolis, Iowa, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, October 1, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington Born January 9, 1948 in Burlington, he was the son of Lloyd and Hazel Rice Shultz. On December 16, 1967 he married Marjorie A. Bundy in Gladstone, Illinois. Mr. Shultz was a 1966 Mediapolis High School graduate. He was an Army veteran of the Viet Nam era. He worked in production at General Electric for 34 years, retiring in 2003. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Shultz enjoyed hunting and fishing and in his retirement, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Shultz of Burlington; two sons, Jeff (Michelle) Shultz of Streator, Illinois and Greg (Jaime) Shultz of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Sabrina Oberholtzer, and Kaleb, Carter and Ashley Shultz; one brother, Frank Shultz of Burlington and three sisters, Goldie Shultz of Rensselaer, Indiana, Elizabeth Beem of Lancaster, California, and Lillian (Bob) Achord of Burlington. His parents preceded him in death.
