Obituary
Death has again been busy in the County Treasurer's office. Jacob Arrick, Esp., who was appointed to the post vacated by the death of Charles Madera., Esq., and who was subsequently elected by the people to the same office, died on Tuesday morning last, at his residence in this city, after a short illness. Mr. Arrick, was an old and well known resident of Burlington. His intercourse with his fellow citizen was marked by kind, obliging, honest and many traits, he consequently acquired the esteem and confidence of all. Like most others he had partaken of the smiles and frowns of fortune, but in every situation he had borne himself with honor. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss. His remains were interred yesterday afternoon with the honors of Odd-Fellowship, of which order he was an honored member.
