Albert A. Sharts, 92, of Los Angeles, Calif., died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1987, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles. Born Aug. 28, 1895, in Burlington, he was the son of M.P. and Lida Wiggins Sharts. He was a retired service supervisor for Robinson Department Store. Before leaving Burlington, he was a well-known concert singer, having given concerts in neighboring towns as well as in Burlington. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are several cousins. A graveside committal service for Mr. Sharts will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
