Mildred Ruth Bergman, 106, of Stronghurst, Ill., died at 7:10 am Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at Oaklane Nursing home in Stronghurst.
Born March 9, 1898, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Issac Freeman and Rachel Morgan Jennings. On July 26, 1947, she married Emmanuel N. Bergman in Chicago. He died on April 10, 1990.
Mrs. Bergman was a pharmacist assistant in Chicago.
She attended 12 years of school. She was a member of Eastern Star and was interested in Henderson County Humane Society. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include many friends.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 8 am to 5 pm Tuesday at Prugh Funeral Service and prior to the funeral service Wednesday morning.
The funeral service for Mrs. Bergman will be at 10 am Wednesday at Prugh’s Chapel, with the Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
