Ronald Lee Schroeder died Monday, December 22, 2014 at Great River Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa. He was born March 18, 1955 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Graden Pence and Frances Leona Schroeder. He married Elaine Schulthies in October of 1973 in Burlington; they later divorced. He married Heidi Jedlicka in December of 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and they later divorced.
Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his garage, all motor sports and gardening. He loved the farm lifestyle of working and his job at Case New Holland repairing all machines and working with fellow friends and neighbors. He enjoyed circle track racing in Burlington and many local tracks.
He is survived by one daughter Christina (Vincent) Villont of Burlington, Iowa; two sons Gradin Schroeder and Nathan Schroeder, both of West Burlington, Iowa; two granddaughters, Haley and Riley Villont; and one grandson, Jackson Villont, all of Burlington.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dianne Kay Schroeder.
Funeral Services will be held in Prugh’s Chapel Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dean Graber will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Prugh’s Chapel on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30p.m.
