Mrs. Marie Blydenburgh, 80, of Burlington Care center, died at 12:25 am Saturday, Aug. 7, in Burlington Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 14, 1895, in Wayland, the daughter of John and Magdalena Boese. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and the Iowa Assn. of Registered Nurses. She was a nurse at Mercy hospital until retiring.
Surviving: Two daughters, Mrs. Jerrel (Virginia) Schramm, Burlington, and Mrs. Richard (Betty) Tyler, Albuquerque, NM; a granddaughter, Mrs. William (Cynthia Marie) Mortensen, West Burlington; and several brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces.
Funeral: 1:30 pm Tuesday, Prugh’s chapel, Rev. Elwood Anderson; Aspen Grove cemetery.
