Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche M. Berges, 87, Birmingham, Mich., a former Burlington resident who died Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Birmingham, were held Thursday in Birmingham.
The body will be brought to Prugh’s Chapel in Burlington Friday. Graveside committal services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
She was born on Jan 23, 1886, in Burlington, the daughter of Henry F. and Augusta Woepking Walbrand. She married Arthur C. Berges. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham chapter of National Farm and Garden Assn., and the Birmingham Musicale.
Surviving; The husband; one son, Robert, Alameda, Calif.; two granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Howard Wagoner, Rhinelander, N.J.; and one brother, Arthur H. Walbrand, Marshalltown, Ia.
Graveside committal services for Mrs. Berges will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery Saturday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. Mr. James E. Clark will officiate. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Friday evening from 7:30 until 9:00.
