Juanita L. Schneider, 81, of Burlington died at 9:33 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at Great River Mediacl Center's Klein Center. Born March 21, 1924, in Davenport, she was the daughter of Milbourn Allen and Maude Ann Colbert Dungan. On Nov. 27, 1947, she married Fred Carl Schneider in Galesburg, Ill. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Schneider was an expediter for J.I. Case Co. for 22 years, retireing in 1987. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Golden Oldies, United Auto Workers, RSVP and Des Moines County Historical Society. Survivors include two sons, John H. Schneider of Pleasant Hill Or., and Robert E. Schneider of Fort Madison; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Pollitt of Auburn, Wa.;nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother James M. Dungan of Renton, Wa. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and three grandsons. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nmonday at Lunning Chapel, where the family receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mrs Schneider will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop Jonathan Snow conducting the service. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the LDS Mission Fund.
