Services for Adolph P. Berge, 94, Park Madison Apartments, who died in Burlington Medical Center Wednesday, Nov. 13, will be held in Prugh’s Chapel at 10:30 am Saturday, the Rev. Richard Sather officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial for the First United Church of Christ has been established.
Mr. Berges was born at Switzer, Monroe County, Ohio, on May 22, 1891, to John D. and Wilhelmina Guth Berges. He married Bessie M. Wood on Sept. 12, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn.
He was a retired railway postal worker. He was a member of First United Church of Christ and the Railway Postal Workers Union.
Nieces and nephews survive.
