Connie Jo Ruschmeyer, 56, of Burlington, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Prairie Ridge Care and Rehab in Mediapolis. Born April 9, 1955, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Conrad and Hazel (Heidbreder) Bentrim. She was a 1973 graduate of Burlington High School. She was a member of the New Fellowship Church, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Survivors include a daughter, Destiny Warfield of Burlington; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Jackie DeFrates of Burlington and Diana Brown of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ty and Douglas Ruschmeyer; and one brother. The memorial funeral service for Ms. Ruschmeyer will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16th, in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Terry Vance will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Aspen Grove Cemetery. According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded.
