Jacob Alexander Lang, 5 days old, of Mediapolis, died Friday, February 1, 2008, at 5:12 p.m. in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Children's Center. Born January 27, 2008 in Iowa City, he was the son of Jonathan James and Janelle Kristine Rollins Lang. Survivors include his mommy and daddy; paternal grandparents, Linda (Harley) Keever and James (Peggy) Lang; maternal grandparents, James and Tina Rollins; maternal great-grandparents, Larry and Janet Peterson and Marian Chamberlain; maternal great-great-grandfather, Floyd (Lil) Radestock; paternal great-grandmother Janice Goins; paternal great-grandfather Bill Wadsager; three uncles and one aunt. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alexander James Lang; paternal great-grandparents; and maternal great-grandfather. The funeral service for Jacob will be Tuesday, February 5th at 1:00 p.m. in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Frank Beaty will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
