James "Jim" Earnest Floyd, 58, of Burlington, died at 5 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006, at his home.
Born February 4, 1948, in Livingston, Montana, he was the son of Ray and Margaret E. Morris Floyd. On July 6, 1968, he married Tammy L. Meigs in Coeur d"Alene, Idaho.
Mr. Floyd was a machinist at BNSF for 37 years.
He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and restoring cars.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim Floyd Jr. of Livingston and Camero Floyd of Burlington; three daughters, Linda Floyd and Cinda Self, both of Livingston, and Jessica Ritter of Burlington; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated.
