Laurence B. "L.B." Ringold, 75, 914 N. Third, was found dead at 4:35 p.m. Monday, April 29, at is home. He was born July 23, 1898 in Burlington, the son of Lewis and Kate Clinkenbeard Ringold. He married Dorothy Turner in Burlington June 19, 1926; she died Oct. 12, 1969. He was a buyer for Drake Hardware for 54 years, retiring in 1973, a World War I veteran, member of the Elks club, First Congregational church, Crystal lake club and was past commander of the local American Legion. Surviving: Three sons, L.B., Jr., Shreveport, La., George and Stephen. both of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew. Graveside committal services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aspen Grove cemetery. Rev. Arthur Krebs, A memorial fund has been established with Ducks Unlimited. Prugh's chapel is in charge of arrangements.
