James K. Richardson, 84, of Burlington, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born December 27, 1921, in Bloomfield, he was the son of Roy B. and Verna G. Sprout Richardson. Mr. Richardson was the owner of J and D Deli. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of SS John and Paul Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed camping and fishing. Survivors include one niece, Linda Baldwin of Columbus Junction; and one nephew, General Phillip Kiley of Arizona; and friend and companion, Billy Douglas of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. There will be no services. His body has been cremated. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
