George A Bell, 60, of the Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown, died at 11 pm Friday, Dec. 23, 1994, at the Marshalltown Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1934, at Chariton, he was the son of Raymond H. and Mary L. Birdsell Bell.
Mr. Bell had been employed at Chittenden & Eastman, US Gypsum, and Aspen Grove Cemetery. He was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include two daughters, Dana Renae Bell and Angela Jo Bell both of Burlington; two grandchildren; a brother, Norman Bell of rural Monmouth, Ill.; and his mother of Burlington.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
The funeral for Mr. Bell will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Prugh’s Chapel, with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
