C. Keith Price, 90, of Burlington, died at 4:05 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born June 26, 1922, in Burlington, he was the son of Jesse Guy and Iva Fern Price. On June 1, 1947, he married Bertha M.L. Larkins in Burlington. Keith was employed for 43 years as a Web Pressman with The Burlington Hawk Eye. He retired in 1982. He was a 1941 graduate of Burlington High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII in the European Theatre. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Bertha; one daughter, Susan Kay (Mike Hamilton) Price of Des Moines; and one niece, Lynn (Jack) Lawson and one nephew, Larry (Brenda) Larkins. He was preceded in death by his son Scott Price, his parents and one brother. Cremation has been entrusted to Thielen Crematory. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Thielen Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends. The memorial service for Mr. Price will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Thielen Funeral Home with Chaplain Randy Gearhart officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Iowa Department for the Blind, Library Services in Des Moines, Iowa.
