Burlington native Mrs. Drothy Hallberg Bell, 71, of 3135 36th Ave., Rock Island, Ill., died at 7:25 am Monday, Oct. 14, after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 19, 1913, at Burlington, to Henry G. and Mary Bacher Hallberg. She married Harry Bell on June 26,191, at Burlington.
She taught school at Pleasant Grove and Salter schools.
Surviving: Husband; three sons, David and Thomas, both of Rock Island, and Steven, Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren; brother, Donald H. Hallberg., Burlington.
Funeral: 11:30 am Wednesday, First Lutheran Church, 18th Ave. and 20th, Rock Island. The body will be brought to Aspen Grove Cemetery, Corse Street entrance, at 3:30 pm for graveside service and Burial. Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is in charge.
