Thomas Edward Graham, 75, of Burlington, died at 7:30 AM Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his home.
Born October 24, 1940, in Oquawka, IL, he was the son of Clarence and Ruth Waterman Graham. On April 12, 1958, he married Sandra Lu Jackson in Burlington, Iowa. She died on January 27, 1995.
Tom was the owner/operator of Graham and Sons Interior and Exterior Painting. He had also worked for J.I. Case and Paradise Resort Inn in Las Vegas.
He enjoyed painting, watching old Westerns, football, and he loved woodworking.
Survivors include his children, Rick (Nancy) Graham of Burlington, Charlotte Leasure of Burlington, Scott Graham of Burlington, Sherry (David) Groenwald of Burlington, Rhonda (JD Lafferty) Gutierrez of Burlington, Ronald Graham of Burlington; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Tina) Graham of Burlington; one sister, Francis Veldez of Watsonville, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson, two sisters and one brother.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
A private Graveside Committal Service for Mr.Graham will be held at a later date.
