Mrs. Dorothy E. Behne, 71, 1924 Vogt, died at 1:30 pm Friday, Jan. 19, at Memorial hospital.
She was born Sept. 25, 1901, in Redwood Falls, Minn., the daughter of Jacob and Bertha Behtke Schoelkopf. She married Walter Behne on July 8, 1925, in Burlington. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ.
Surviving; the husband; one daughter Mrs. Marian Massey, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Smith, Warrentown, Ore.; one brother, Otto Schoelkopf; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held in Lunning Chapel Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Donald Klohr officiating. Interment will be in the Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Chapel Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. Friends who wish may contribute to a Memorial for the First United Church of Christ.
