Mrs. Charlotte E. Peterson, 88, of Burlington went to be with her Lord at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born December 17, 1924 in Werne, Germany, she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Kroft Frenzer. On January 8, 1945 she married Howard Peterson in Burlington. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1988.
Mrs. Peterson was a Burlington High School graduate. She worked as a wireman for General Electric, retiring in 1989.
Mrs. Peterson was a member of SS Mary and Patrick Catholic Church, and Moose and Eagles Auxiliaries. She enjoyed dancing and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loved to travel
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Carl) Kupniewski of Burlington; two sons, Timothy (Sheri) Peterson of Holmen, Wisconsin and Thomas Peterson of Burlington; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Antoinette Kerr of Burlington and Rose Mary Moss of West Burlington and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, two sons and two sisters.
