Donald Edward Pepmeyer, 85, of Burlington, died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at New London Nursing and Rehab. Born October 22, 1923, in Burlington, he was the son of Edward E. and Caroline Vahle Pepmeyer. On October 5, 1969, he married Judith A. McNeeley in Danville. Mr. Pepmeyer was a Burlington High School graduate. He was a ripsaw operator for Leheigh-Leopold for 40 years. He enjoyed playing Bingo. Survivors include his wife, Judith Pepmeyer of Burlington; one son, Randy Pepmeyer of Burlington; one daughter, Karla Pepmeyer of Burlington; and one sister, Lois McKeown of Burlington. His parents and three sisters, Frances, Ethel and Mabel, preceded him in death.
